LONDON — British police on Saturday said that an armed intruder was arrested on Christmas morning on the grounds of Windsor Castle, the main residence of Queen Elizabeth II, where the British monarch was celebrating Christmas.

“The man has been arrested on suspicion of breach or trespass of a protected site and possession of an offensive weapon. He remains in custody at this time,” Thames Valley Police Superintendent Rebecca Mears said in a statement. What weapon he had remained unclear.

The 19-year-old man from Southampton was arrested after he was found entering the grounds of the castle at around 8:30 a.m., police said. He did not enter any buildings.

“Members of the royal family have been informed about the incident,” Mears said. “We do not believe there is a wider danger to the public.”

A spokeswoman for Buckingham Palace declined to comment, saying it was a matter for the police.

Other security breaches have occurred at Windsor this year. In May, a couple was arrested after entering the grounds of the Windsor estate. The Times of London reported that they were found near the spot where the queen walks her dogs.

One of the best known royal security breaches over the years occurred in 1982, when 31-year-old Michael Fagan broke into Buckingham Palace. As depicted in an episode of “The Crown,” Fagan reached the queen’s bedroom and spent several minutes chatting with the monarch.

The queen had been planning to host a Christmas gathering this year at her Sandringham estate in Norfolk, England. But those plans were scrapped, for the second year in a row, after a surge in coronavirus infections. Confirmed daily cases hit a record high on Saturday.

Instead, the queen spent Christmas Day at Windsor Castle, her main residence since the start of the pandemic in 2020. She was joined by a small group of family members, including her eldest son, Prince Charles, and his wife, Camilla.

This was the queen’s first Christmas since the death of her husband, Prince Philip, in April at age 99. The queen paid tribute to him in her annual Christmas Day speech, which was broadcast Saturday but recorded last week.

Referring to Philip, the queen said that there was “one familiar laugh missing this year.”

The Queen is still to make a final decision on whether to hold her traditional pre-Christmas family party next week.

Plans are fully in place for the festive lunch the monarch hosts each year for her extended family, and preparations are under way.

But it is understood the Queen is still considering whether the get-together should happen amid rising Covid cases and the surge in the Omicron variant.

The Queen, 95, is due to hold the lunch next Tuesday at Windsor Castle where she has been staying for most of the pandemic, The Sun newspaper said.

Most years, the Queen invites her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren to join her at Buckingham Palace before she departs for her annual Christmas stay at Sandringham.

The Palace is undergoing major renovation works at present.

The pre-Christmas celebration gives the head of state a chance to catch up with relatives who are unable to travel to Norfolk for Christmas Day.

The wider family is also usually invited, including the Queen’s cousins – the Gloucesters, the Duke of Kent and the Michaels of Kent.

This Christmas is the Queen’s first since the death of her husband of 73 years, the Duke of Edinburgh.

She has only been carrying out light duties since October 20 when concerns for her health were heightened after royal doctors ordered her to rest and she spent a night in hospital undergoing tests.

Singer and rapper Craig David received an MBE for services to music after staging a career comeback.

The star found overnight fame with the release of his debut album Born To Do It in 2000 but after the hits eluded him and he moved to America he returned to successful ways with his record Following My Intuition in 2016.

The 46-year-old retired soccer ace performed best man duties for his 73-year-old dad, who tied the knot with solicitor Hilary Meredith, 62, at Temple in Central London, a legal district in the British Capital, on Saturday (11.12.21).

The former England captain was joined by his fashion designer wife Victoria Beckham, 47, and their three youngest children – Romeo, 19, Cruz, 16, and 10-year-old Harper – at the ceremony.

A source told The Sun newspaper: “It was a very small private affair with just a handful of close family and friends, including David, Victoria and three of the children.

“David was best man and did all the usual things the best man does like hold the rings and he was due to give a speech as well.

“Ted is in his 70s and Hilary is in her 60s. It was the second wedding for both of them so they didn’t want to make a fuss of it but the whole family was delighted to be there.”

The power couple’s eldest boy, Brooklyn, 22, is currently believed to be in the US with his fiancee Nicola Peltz, and therefore missed out on his grandfather’s big day.

Ted and David’s mother Sandra – who also have two daughters – divorced in 2002 after 32 years of marriage.

Ted was introduced to Hilary through their charity work for Broughton House Veteran Care Village last year, and their engagement was announced in March 2020.

In a statement at the time, the couple shared: “While there are far more important things going on in the world right now, we are thrilled to say that we are happily engaged. Stay safe everyone.”

Meanwhile, for Father’s Day last year, Ted gushed to his son in a joint video: “You’ve turned out exactly how I want you.”

Once upon a time, there lived an emperor who cared only about his clothes and about
showing them of . One day two con men came to him and said that they could make him
the finest suit of clothes from the most beautiful cloth. This cloth, they said, was very
special. The cloth was invisible to the stupid and the low-born.
Being a bit nervous about whether he himself would be able to see the cloth the emperor
first sent two of his trusted advisors to see this special material. There was, of course,
no cloth at all, but neither would admit that they could not see it and so they praised it.
As word of this special cloth spread, all the townspeople were now interested to learn
how stupid their neighbors were.
The emperor then allowed himself to be dressed by the con men in his special new suit,
made of this special cloth, for the procession through town. Although he knew he was
naked, he never admitted it for fear that he was too unfit and stupid to see that he was
wearing nothing. He too was afraid that the townspeople would think that he was stupid.
Of course, all the townspeople wildly praised the magnificent clothes of the emperor,
themselves afraid to admit that they could not see the clothes, until a small child said:
“But he has nothing on!”
The child’s parents gasped and attempted to silence the child, but the child would not be
silenced. As he twisted and turned, pulling his parents hands from his mouth, he
continued to say, “The emperor is naked!” Soon, a few of his classmates were giggling
and joined in.”
After awhile adults joined their children and began to whisper, “The kids are right! The
old guy has nothing on. He’s a fool and he expects us to be foolish with him.”

I’m humbled and deeply grateful for your continued support I have always received from you my good friends, honestly we are family together and I believe much more blessings will unveil in this year and beyond.

My concern about you will always increase as well as building each other in many different areas of life.

The greatest gift I have ever received from you God is life. Again you have continued to add more value to make my life so meaningful and worthy in your presence. I was born of flesh which already contracted sin, making the real purpose of the greatest gift seem impossible to enjoy but because of who you are, You made sure that sin is defeated the one that brought enmity, boundaries and slavery between mankind and our Creator. When Jesus Christ rose from the dead, death was rendered useless for it was completely defeated. No enmity, boundaries or bondage in sin since it’s venomous sting was brought to nothing. Therefore , there is only friendship, peace, happiness and freedom in abiding to the word of God that is the source of Light in our lives.

No one knows the kind of joy that is in God if someone has been trapped in the world and its systems which is so wicked. Only those who have received the power of the Holy Spirit have the experience and Spiritual encounter with God. The Holy Spirit has everything that all human beings would wish for…. It is only given to those God has chosen it is entitled to be.  Happiness is a reward that God grants to His meek children who diligently observe the course of the established Law of nature. Whenever I think of life I always look at God who is the Creator behind everything in this great nature/existence. There is so much joy I have found in you Lord that I will forever cherish in eternity. May the Holy name of God be exalted on earth and in Heaven so that our hopes and desires in Him will never fade away but kept alive and strong all the time.

 

My life is a definition of what my Creator wanted it to be. My desires are never enough and complete if I do not involve God to take part in them. I am fulfilled and accomplished by the good works of God the moment I surrender everything to Him completely. Thank you my Lord and Heavenly Father for all the wonderful works you have revealed to me and for making it possible to place me on this position I have in this world. I know much more is coming to me that you assigned me to do which falls under my care. I may not comprehend to greater tasks if you did not authenticate yourself and powers to me to do what normally happens to me that brings honor to your Holy name.

I am humbled and grateful because you don’t leave me alone when I need you the most, You always avail yourself to me and provide with me everything I need. With you I do not lack anything, my life is complete in you O God. You make me stand firm even when I’m weak. You are the source of my Happiness that is why I try my best to cling to your established Law of nature.

Most of the time human nature is confronted with a number of challenges in life that sometimes have solutions to sort them out and others still remain unsolved due to their nature. Man is only able to solve problems and challenges that are within his ability,  therefore anything that is beyond his reach is a permanent mystery and always remains a puzzle to him. In other words, man is so much restrained by his physical nature, therefore most of the Spiritual matters that happens are mainly not controlled by himself but in the Spiritual realms….. No wonder it’s good to remain in good relationship with God who alone is above everything and is capable to solve anything that is above human understanding and ability. Should mankind take things or matters in his own hands and forget about God, then his downfall is just around the corner. It is always a good idea to invite God in our lives so that by the power of revelation through the Holy Spirit we can be granted the knowledge and power to handle situations around us once every matter is submitted to God on our behalf. All it requires is  the divine intervention of God to take part in every activity we go through. 

Almost everyone has a beautiful dream or vision to fulfill that is so cardinal. We all happen to miss it especially when we have a wrong interpretation of such dreams. I will take an example of a seed which is likened to a dream that needs other elements to participate for it to grow well and finally have fruits.  It needs to be planted in good and fertile soil and watered frequently with adequate water. The sun also has an important role to participate in this process just to make sure everything is going well in the growth of the plant so that it can reach the stage of bearing fruits…. The list goes on. All these stages are extremely important because they play an a role that contribute to turn “What was called a seed to turn into a FRUIT’ which is the ultimate result that we need at the end of the day.  This process is essential equally when we undertake certain dreams we just want to fulfill in life. Above all we should and need to consult from God who alone can arrange a system in favour of us the moment we remain loyal and submissive to Him. By so doing we eventually obtain exactly twice as much as we normally requested from Him and more than we actually expected.  Each time we need to carry out a dignified duty God has to be first so that He does everything for us in the Spiritual realm where we can not see and finally present the results to us so that they can be physically presented and manifested. This is the best wayof interpretation of dreams for mankind especially when it is totally handled by God on our behalf. 

 

Once upon a time two workers were sent to handle different tasks from their boss. The first one was told to fetch water in the bucket and the other one was supposed to buy a tray of eggs. They both did what they were told to do….as they were coming back the one with a bucket of water stumbled and fell down so the water got splashed on the ground and also on him. Immediately the other colleague noticed this misfortune happening to his friend, he started laughing at him instead of consoling him. He laughed and laughed to the point of losing balance and dropped off the tray of eggs. All the eggs were completely smashed and he realized that instantly and stopped laughing. As soon as that happened his friend picked up the bucket and laughed him twice as much as he had first laughed him earlier…. He extremely mocked him by sleeping on the ground as he was laughing because he knew, for him it was easy to go back and draw water in the bucket while his friend had no money to replace for the smashed eggs unless his boss deducts from his salary.

In life let’s learn to console one another each time we meet ill fates instead of laughing, mocking or making fun of such bad circumstances. Where assistance is required we have to do it in order to lessen the pain that others are going through.
